Monel 400 Plate is an extremely corrosion resistant material with an extremely high melting point. Hence, the plates and sheets are suitable for high temperature and highly corrosive applications. ASTM B127 UNS N04400 composition includes 63% nickel and 28% copper, which makes it resistant to strong acids like sulfuric acid.
