Introduction to the characteristics of Inconel 600 alloy and Inconel 625 alloy
Inconel alloy hydrothermal reactor and material contact materials usually use inconel600 or inconel625 alloy. This type of reactor has excellent corrosion resistance and good high temperature performance. Among them, inconel600 can withstand the maximum temperature of 650℃, and inconel625 can withstand With a high temperature of 850°C, Inconel alloy reactors are widely used in corrosion-resistant or high-temperature environments.
Inconel 600 alloy is a nickel-chromium-iron-based solid solution strengthened alloy. It has good high-temperature corrosion and oxidation resistance, excellent hot and cold processing and welding properties, and has satisfactory thermal strength and high temperature below 650°C. of plasticity.
Inconel 600 alloy has the following characteristics:
(1) It has good resistance to corrosion by reducing, oxidizing and nitriding media.
(2) It has good resistance to stress corrosion cracking at room temperature and high temperature.
(3) It has good resistance to corrosion by dry chlorine gas and hydrogen chloride gas.
(4) It has good mechanical properties at zero, room temperature and high temperature.
(5) It has good creep rupture resistance and is recommended for use in reactors below 650°C.
Inconel625 alloy shows excellent corrosion resistance in many media. Excellent resistance to pitting, crevice corrosion, intergranular corrosion and erosion in chloride media. It has good resistance to inorganic acid corrosion, such as nitric acid, phosphoric acid, sulfuric acid, hydrochloric acid, etc. It also has resistance to alkali and organic acid corrosion in oxidizing and reducing environments. Effective resistance to chloride ion reduction stress corrosion cracking. There is almost no corrosion in seawater and industrial gas environments, and it has high corrosion resistance to seawater and salt solutions, also at high temperatures. Resistant to carbonization and oxidation in static or cyclic environments, and resistant to corrosion by chlorine-containing gases.
Features of Inconel625 alloy:
(1) It has excellent corrosion resistance against various corrosive media in oxidizing and reducing environments.
(2) Excellent resistance to pitting corrosion and crevice corrosion, and will not produce stress corrosion cracking caused by chloride.
(3) Excellent resistance to inorganic acid corrosion, such as nitric acid, phosphoric acid, sulfuric acid, hydrochloric acid and mixed acids of sulfuric acid and hydrochloric acid.
(4) Excellent resistance to corrosion by various inorganic acid mixed solutions.
(5) When the temperature reaches 40°C, it can show good corrosion resistance in hydrochloric acid solutions of various concentrations.
(6) Good processability and weldability, no post-weld cracking sensitivity.
