Differences between Hastelloy B2 plate and B3 alloy plate
Both Hastelloy B2 Plate and Hastelloy B3 Alloy Plate are ideal for corrosion resistant applications, especially in highly acidic environments. Hastelloy B3 Plate has enhanced resistance to hydrochloric acid and performs better at elevated temperatures. Hastelloy B2 Plate, on the other hand, has excellent resistance to sensitization. The choice of these alloys depends on the specific corrosive environment and the mechanical properties required for the application.

What is Hastelloy B2 Plate?
Hastelloy B2 alloy plate is a nickel-molybdenum alloy that has excellent resistance to reducing environments such as hydrogen chloride gas as well as sulfuric, acetic and phosphoric acids. Hastelloy B2 is resistant to pure sulfuric acid and a wide range of non-oxidizing acids.
