Hastelloy B3 Alloy Round Bar

Hastelloy B3 Alloy Round Bar
Hastelloy B3 alloy round bar is a corrosion resistant nickel-molybdenum alloy commonly used in demanding chemical processing applications due to its excellent resistance to hydrochloric acid, sulfuric acid and other corrosive media.
What is B3 Alloy Rod?
B-3 Alloy Rod is a new member of the nickel-molybdenum alloy family that offers excellent resistance to hydrochloric acid in a wide range of concentrations and temperatures. It also resists sulfuric, acetic, formic, phosphoric, and other non-oxidizing media.

What is the chemical composition of B3 alloy rod?
B-3 rod is a nickel-molybdenum solid solution strengthened high temperature alloy with a nominal chemical composition of 65% nickel and 28% molybdenum, with additions of iron, manganese, tungsten and cobalt. Its trade name is usually Hastelloy B-3 alloy rod, and its common name is UNS N10675.
What is Hastelloy B3?
Hastelloy B-3 is a nickel-molybdenum alloy that offers excellent resistance to pitting, corrosion and stress corrosion cracking, and better thermal stability than alloy B-2. In addition, this nickel-steel alloy offers excellent resistance to tool mark and heat affected zone corrosion.
