Hastelloy B3 pipe (UNS N10675) exhibits very high corrosion resistance to pure hydrochloric, hydrobromic and sulfuric acids. Hastelloy B2 pipe has poor corrosion resistance in oxidizing environments and is not recommended for use in oxidizing media or in the presence of iron or copper salts as they may cause rapid and premature corrosion failure.
