Heat-resistant nickel-chromium-iron alloy MA956 is an iron-chromium-aluminum alloy prepared by oxide dispersion strengthening and mechanical alloying. Its production involves the production of high-energy ball-milled powder and yttrium oxide dispersion-strengthened alloys. It has excellent strength and corrosion resistance, with carburizing and oxidation temperatures exceeding 1100°C (2000°F).
Incoloy 028 is a nickel-iron-chromium alloy with added molybdenum and copper. It has excellent ability to prevent reducing or oxidizing acids, stress corrosion cracking, and corrosion caused by the use environment, such as pitting and crevice corrosion. The alloy is particularly resistant to sulfuric and phosphoric acid corrosion. Used in chemical processing, pollution control equipment, piping for oil and gas wells, nuclear fuel reprocessing, acid generation and pickling equipment.
