Incoloy 825 926 stainless steel Pipe
Incoloy 825 is a titanium stabilized fully austenitic nickel iron chromium alloy with added copper and molybdenum. Incoloy 825 is a general-purpose engineering alloy that resists acid and alkali metal corrosion in both oxidizing and reducing environments. The high nickel content gives the alloy effective resistance to stress corrosion cracking. It has good corrosion resistance in various media, such as sulfuric acid, phosphoric acid, nitric acid and organic acids, alkali metals such as sodium hydroxide, potassium hydroxide and hydrochloric acid solution. The higher comprehensive performance of Incoloy 825 is demonstrated in nuclear combustion dissolvers with diverse corrosive media, such as sulfuric acid, nitric acid and sodium hydroxide, all processed in the same equipment.
Incoloy 926 (UNS N08926) is a nickel-based alloy containing titanium and aluminum. It contains enough chromium to form and maintain sufficient scale of chromium oxide to protect it under high temperature conditions. More resistant to high temperatures than traditional chromium-nickel stainless steels such as 304; higher nickel content makes it more oxidation resistant than standard 18-8 stainless steel, and its oxidation resistance is not inferior to service temperatures up to 1900°F (1038°C ) of higher grade alloys.
