Hastelloy C-4, also known as Alloy C-4, UNS No. N06455 and W. Nr. 2.4610, is a nickel-chromium-molybdenum alloy that has excellent resistance to a wide range of aggressive chemicals, including hot sulfuric acid, hydrochloric acid and other highly corrosive media. It also has good resistance to stress corrosion cracking and oxidizing atmospheres.
Hastelloy Alloy C-4 is particularly suitable for use in environments with high temperatures and severe corrosive conditions. The alloy is commonly used in chemical processing, pharmaceutical and petrochemical industries, as well as pollution control and other applications where high corrosion resistance is required.
