Hastelloy C-22, also known as Alloy C-22, UNSN06022 and W. Nr. 2.4602, is a nickel-chromium-molybdenum-tungsten alloy that has excellent resistance to oxidizing and reducing environments, making it suitable for a variety of chemical processing applications.
Hastelloy alloy C-22 exhibits excellent resistance to pitting, crevice corrosion and stress corrosion cracking, while also being highly resistant to chlorides, sulfuric acid and other aggressive media. This makes it the material of choice for harsh chemical environment applications such as chemical processing, pollution control and wastewater treatment facilities.
