Introduction to N06625 Material

N06625 is a Ni-Cr based solid solution strengthened deformable high temperature alloy. The main solid solution strengthening elements include chromium, molybdenum and niobium. Its maximum service temperature can reach 950℃. 625 alloy can be used in places where it contacts seawater and is subjected to high mechanical stress. The alloy is widely used in parts of chloride-containing organic chemical process technology, especially in places where acid chloride catalysts are used. At the same time, it is also widely used in the manufacture of digesters and bleaching tanks in the pulp and paper industry, as well as absorption towers, reheaters, flue gas inlet baffles, fans (humid), agitators, guide plates and flues in flue gas desulfurization systems.

N06625 process performance and requirements

1. The alloy has excellent cold and hot forming properties, and the ingot forging needs to be heated to 1120℃.
2. The average grain size of the alloy is closely related to the degree of deformation and final forging temperature of the forging.
3. The alloy has good welding performance. Tungsten electrode or this alloy can be used as argon arc welding filler under protective atmosphere, and can also be connected by brazing and resistance seam welding.
4. Surface treatment process: When removing the surface oxide scale of the alloy, first perform alkali washing, and then pickle in nitric acid, hydrofluoric acid-water solution.
5. When the alloy is cold processed, if the processing volume is greater than 15%, annealing treatment after hot processing is required.
