What alloy is 925?
925 is an age-hardenable nickel-iron-chromium alloy designed for corrosion resistance and high strength. Composed of copper, titanium, molybdenum and aluminum, combined with nickel, the alloy offers excellent resistance to stress corrosion cracking, pitting and crevice corrosion, and both oxidizing and reducing environments.
