Inconel706 has excellent strength, good oxidation resistance and corrosion resistance
Inconel 706 (UNS N09706): High temperature strength alloy
Inconel706 (UNS N09706) is a Fe-Ni-Cr-based precipitation hardening deformed high-temperature alloy suitable for temperatures ranging from 550°C to 650°C. This alloy is improved based on GH4169 alloy and has properties similar to GH4169 alloy. By reducing the niobium content, Inconel 706 alloy shows better characteristics in terms of production process performance, hot and cold processing performance and welding performance. Below 700°C, the alloy exhibits excellent strength, good oxidation resistance and corrosion resistance. Inconel 706 alloy is suitable for the production of large and oversized high-temperature alloy products, such as aircraft engine casings, diffuser casings, turbine disks, fasteners and other components. In addition, it can be used to manufacture large-diameter discs for gas turbines used in combined cycle power generation. Its main products include bars, forgings, rings, sheets and strips, etc.
