C-22 alloy offers excellent resistance to pitting, crevice corrosion, and stress corrosion cracking. It also exhibits excellent resistance to oxidizing aqueous media, including acids containing oxidants, wet chlorine, and mixtures of oxidizing acids containing nitric acid or chloride ions.
