Monel 500 is commonly known as monel K500. Monel K500 actually has the same corrosion resistance as Monel 400, but has higher mechanical strength and hardness than 400. It also has better hot corrosion resistance and long-term organizational stability. However, the plasticity is slightly lower than that of Monel K500. Compared with Monel400, this alloy contains a mass fraction of 2.3%~3.15% aluminum AL and 0.3%~1.00% titanium Ti. The amount added is different in different places.

Typical applications for Monel are valves and pumps; pumps and drive shafts; electrical and electronic components; crude oil stills, boiler feed water heaters, marine fixtures and fasteners; gasoline and water tanks; gasoline drums; springs; chemical processing equipment ; Process vessels and piping; heat exchangers; metal musical instruments; degassing heaters; musical instruments; refrigerators; film processing; kitchen sinks; roofs; and eyeglass frames. Monel alloy is available in pipes, pipe fittings, plates, strips, round rods, and strips.
GNEE Monel 500 Feature
In addition to its excellent mechanical properties such as high strength, corrosion resistance, and non-magnetic properties, Monel K500 alloy also has the same corrosion resistance as Monel 400. It can be used as a pump shaft material and is suitable for working in harsh geological mining conditions of high-sulfur and high-wax oil layers. Since this alloy has no plastic-to-brittle transition temperature, it is very suitable for various low-temperature equipment.
