Hastelloy C276 Properties
Chloride environment: C276 alloy performs well in chloride media, especially at high temperatures, it can still maintain high corrosion resistance and is often used in chloride chemical reaction vessels.
Acidic media: In concentrated sulfuric acid and hydrochloric acid, C276 alloy also has excellent corrosion resistance and can withstand long-term corrosive environments.
Oxidizing and reducing mixed media: Due to its high chromium content, C276 alloy shows good oxidation resistance in oxidizing environments and also has good stability in reducing environments.

Tensile Strength: Usually between 720-890MPa.
Yield strength: Generally between 310-550MPa, with high load-bearing capacity.
Ductility: Excellent performance under high temperature conditions and good ductility.
Alloy C276 Specific Heat Capacity and Thermal Expansion
The specific heat capacity changes significantly with temperature. The specific heat capacity is about 0.4J/g·K at normal temperature. The specific heat capacity will increase slightly under high temperature conditions. In addition, the alloy has a low thermal expansion coefficient at high temperatures, which means it is not prone to large dimensional changes when temperature changes, which is crucial for the stability of high-precision equipment.
