Nickel Alloy Inconel 600 Pipe Description
Inconel 600 (Alloy 600) is a nickel-chromium high-temperature alloy with excellent resistance to chloride-ion stress corrosion cracking and carburization. The high nickel content gives it excellent resistance to corrosion from sulfur compounds and makes it virtually immune to chloride stress corrosion cracking. The chromium content allows it to withstand sulfur compounds and a wide range of oxidizing environments and temperatures. Due to these excellent properties, Inconel 600 Tube and Inconel 600 Pipe have been specified for use in the most demanding environments. The product range includes Inconel 600 Seamless Tube for high-pressure applications and other Inconel 600 Welded Tubes for structural applications. Inconel 600 Seamless Tube is best suited for instrumentation applications, while Inconel 600 Welded Tube is an ideal general purpose solution. Due to these properties, UNS N06600 Tube is the standard of choice for engineers in the aerospace, heat treating, and chemical processing industries.
