Hastelloy C4 Coil
Hastelloy C-4 coil (UNS N06455) is a nickel-chromium-molybdenum corrosion-resistant alloy coil product with a low-carbon design. It is widely favored in the industrial field for its excellent welding performance and resistance to intergranular corrosion. The material is made into thin plates or coils with a thickness of 0.5-6.0mm and a width of 600-1500mm through precise hot rolling or cold rolling processes. It can be supplied in a variety of supply states such as hot rolling (HR), cold rolling (CR), and annealing, and has different surface treatment options such as pickling and bright annealing (BA). Its typical chemical composition includes elements such as nickel (remainder), chromium (14-18%), and molybdenum (14-17%). By strictly controlling the carbon content (≤0.015%), the corrosion resistance of the heat-affected zone of the weld is significantly improved, so that it can be used directly without heat treatment after welding. Hastelloy C-4 coils have shown excellent applicability in the fields of chemical equipment (reactors, heat exchangers), environmental engineering (flue gas desulfurization systems), oil and gas (acidic oil and gas pipelines), pharmaceuticals and food (high-purity containers) and nuclear industry (waste treatment equipment), and can withstand oxidizing/reducing media, chloride stress corrosion and high temperature environments (above 600°C). Compared with similar materials, this product has the advantages of lower cost than C-276 and better weldability than C-22 while maintaining good forming and processing performance (stamping, bending, spinning), and complies with international standards such as ASTM B575 and ASME SB-575, making it an ideal choice for welding structural parts in corrosive environments.
