Corrosion resistant C22 Alloy Plate
The plates are made from various alloys and metals. These alloys are further divided into different grades. One of these types is Hastelloy C22 Plate. Although the alloys used to make these pipes are work-hardened, Hastelloy C22 Plate suppliers can successfully deep draw, spin, press or stamp these alloys. Although they are ductile, they can be formed by cold working. Due to the nature of work hardening, C22 alloy plates require intermittent hardening. 1232 degrees Celsius is the recommended starting temperature for hot forming, while 945 degrees Celsius is the recommended final temperature.
2.4602 Hastelloy C22 Plate is resistant to pitting and corrosion. The higher the number, the better the corrosion resistance. It is used in fluid handling equipment and ASTM B575 Alloy C22 Strip is used for desulfurization flue gas. It is also used in various seawater applications. It also resists intergranular corrosion cracking and stress corrosion cracking. ASME SB575 C22 Hastelloy Coil is available in various thicknesses from 0.038 inches to 0.141 inches. Sheets are also available in thicknesses as thin as 12 inches. The sizes of these sheets range from 6 mm to 120 mm.
Hastelloy UNS N06022 hot rolled sheets have good oxidation and creep resistance. They are considered ideal for applications above 540 degrees Celsius. JIS NW 6022 sheets are said to be metallurgically stable. It is not affected by heating and welding processes and does not undergo sensitization. It is not recommended to weld C22 Hastelloy foil using submerged arc welding. Any other welding method can be used. The price of these sheets in India starts from Rs. 2,515. The price in China is the lowest compared to other manufacturing countries.
