The primary function of Hastelloy is to effectively survive high temperature, high stress service in moderately to severely corrosive and/or corrosion-prone environments. Hastelloy is used in many applications, including pressure vessels, nuclear reactors, chemical reactors, and pipes and valves in the chemical industry.
