Hastelloy N UNS N06002 UNS N10276 seamless pipe
Hastelloy N alloy is a nickel-based high-temperature alloy material used in molten salt reactors. It has excellent corrosion resistance, resistance to neutron radiation and good high-temperature mechanical properties. However, the reactor outlet temperature reached 750°C, exceeding the allowable temperature of Hastelloy N alloy of 704°C, which means that the alloy cannot operate stably in a 750°C molten salt environment for a long time.
UNS N10276 or DIN 2.4819, Hastelloy C-276 (also known as Alloy C-276), is a nickel-molybdenum-chromium-iron-tungsten alloy that is one of the most corrosion-resistant alloys available. High molybdenum content resists localized corrosion such as pitting. Low carbon can minimize the precipitation of carbides during the welding process to maintain the resistance to intergranular corrosion in the heat-affected zone of the welded joint.
Hastelloy X (UNS N06002/W.Nr. 2.4665/Alloy X) is a nickel-chromium-iron-molybdenum alloy with excellent oxidation resistance, workability, and high temperature strength. Hastelloy X has also been found to have excellent resistance to stress corrosion cracking in petrochemical applications and is resistant to carburization and nitriding.
