Nickel 201 bright annealed plate is a high-purity nickel alloy, the main component of which is nickel, with a content of more than 99.0%. It has good mechanical properties and corrosion resistance, especially in high temperature and strong acidic environments. Its application fields are wide, including chemical equipment, nuclear industry, and electrical and electronic components.
Nickel 201 alloy heat treatment process
1. Annealing treatment
Annealing is one of the most commonly used heat treatment methods for Nickel 201 nickel alloy. The main purpose is to eliminate work hardening and restore the plasticity and toughness of the material.
Process temperature: The annealing temperature is generally controlled between 700°C and 800°C.
Insulation time: Usually 1 hour, the specific time needs to be adjusted according to the thickness of the workpiece and the situation of the heating equipment.
Cooling method: After annealing, air cooling or water cooling can be carried out, and air cooling is more commonly used to avoid the generation of thermal stress.
After annealing, the elongation of Nickel 201 nickel alloy plate is increased by about 20%, and the hardness is reduced to about HV100, which is suitable for subsequent mechanical processing and use.
