Alloy 20 is an excellent corrosion-resistant austenitic stainless steel. The Alloy 20 Plate is produced with a good concentration of chromium, nickel, and molybdenum. These plates are designed with special resistance against attacks from sulphuric acids. They are also known as Carpenter 20 Cb-3 Plates, which are very strong and can suffice in extreme conditions.
These plates possess excellent mechanical properties. They have a tensile strength of a minimum of 551Mpa and a yield strength of a minimum 241Mpa. The SB 463 UNS N08020 Plate can be elongated easily by 30% and have a melting point of 1443 degrees C. These plates are widely used in oil and gas refineries, marine systems, food processing, process piping, and petrochemical industries.
The ASTM B463 UNS N08020 Sheet can be formed via the hot or cold-rolling processes. These sheets possess superior strength and can suffice in high temperatures and pressures. The 2.4660 Alloy 20 Sheet is very reliable and has a long service life. These sheets are available in sizes between 1.6mm to 76.2mm, which can be customized at the request of our customers.
