GH3600 is a nickel-based alloy with excellent mechanical and physical properties and is commonly used in applications in high-temperature, highly corrosive environments. Its main features include high resistance to creep and creep crack growth, good heat resistance and corrosion resistance, and excellent mechanical strength and ductility. GH3600 is usually used in high-demand engineering fields such as manufacturing chemical equipment, aerospace components, and oil refining units. Special attention should be paid to the fact that when using GH3600 alloy materials, avoid using them in strong corrosive media such as redox and sulfide, so as not to affect the performance and service life of the material. GH3600 nickel-based high-temperature alloy processing technology:

Smelting and casting processes: GH3600 alloy can adopt a variety of smelting and casting processes, including non-vacuum induction melting plus electroslag remelting, electric arc furnace melting plus electroslag remelting, and vacuum melting.

Heat treatment system: The heat treatment system of GH3600 alloy is crucial to improving the performance of the alloy, including different heat treatment systems for plates, strips, and wires. For example, the solution treatment temperature of plates is 1010~1050℃, strips are 1010℃±10℃, and wires are 1065℃±10℃. All these treatments are accompanied by air cooling.

Forming properties: GH3600 alloy has good hot working properties. The recommended heating temperature for steel ingot forging is 1110~1140℃, and the final forging temperature is not less than 950℃. The heating temperature for slab rolling is 1130~1170℃, and the heating temperature for finish rolling is 1090~1130℃. The solution treatment temperature of finished products is 1010~1050℃.

Welding performance: GH3600 alloy has good welding performance and can be connected by various methods such as arc welding, argon arc welding, resistance welding and brazing. Large or complex welded structural parts should be annealed at 870°C for 1 hour after welding to eliminate welding stress.

Processing performance: GH3600 alloy can be strengthened through cold working. Cold working can increase the strength of the alloy, but may reduce a certain plasticity.

Cutting processing: There are no special requirements for the cutting processing of GH3600 alloy, and it can be processed using conventional machining methods.

Supply status: GH3600 alloy can supply cold-rolled sheets, hot-rolled thick plates, strips, wires, bars, round cakes, ring blanks, ring forgings, etc.
