Nickel 201, also known as Ni 201, Alloy 201, UNS N02201, and W.Nr. 2.4068, is a commercially pure wrought nickel alloy similar to Nickel 200 but with a lower carbon content, which results in increased resistance to oxidizing chemicals and high-temperature sulfides.
Alloy 201 Applications
Nickel Alloy 201 has exceptional corrosion resistance in reducing environments and has high thermal and electrical conductivity. It is commonly used in the chemical and electronics industries, and in a variety of applications requiring resistance to alkaline bases.
Difference between Nickel 201 and Nickel 200?
Nickel 201 is more suitable for use at temperatures above 315°C (600°F) than Nickel 200. It can be used with dry chlorine and hydrochloric acid at temperatures up to 550°C (1,022°F).
