ASTM B163 1.4845 1.4571 nickel alloy piping

1.4845 is a heat-resistant austenitic alloy with excellent oxidation resistance under microcycle conditions of 2000°F. Compared with common austenitic alloys, its high chromium and nickel content provides corrosion resistance, excellent oxidation resistance and retains a higher proportion of resistance at room temperature, comparable to type 304. 1.4845 is usually used at low temperatures, in Excellent hardness at -450°F and low magnetic permeability.
1.4571 is a titanium version of 316 stainless steel. Stainless steel grade 1.4571 contains small amounts of titanium in its alloy composition. Titanium content is usually around 0.5%. Titanium atoms strengthen the structure of the Type 316 at temperatures in excess of eight hundred degrees Celsius. This helps avoid carbide precipitation at grain boundaries and protects the material from corrosion.
