Alloy 201 is a commercially pure nickel with ≤0.02% carbon content. The alloy has highly ductile mechanical properties over a wide temperature range. It provides corrosion resistance in neutral to moderately reducing environments. Nickel 201 is ferromagnetic. It has high thermal and electrical conductivity compared to nickel-based alloys, stainless steel and low alloy steel.
Nickel 200 is a 99.6% pure nickel alloy that is one of the toughest metals in existence. It has excellent mechanical properties and high thermal and electrical conductivity. Additionally, the beneficial properties of Nickel 200 and its chemical composition make it easy to manufacture and highly resistant to corrosive environments.
Alloy 270 is a high purity nickel usually made from powder metallurgy. It has low base hardness and high ductility. It is essentially free of non-metallic inclusions.
