Inconel 686 693 Metal tube
Alloy 686 has corrosion resistance to various corrosive media. Chromium gives the alloy better corrosion resistance under oxidizing conditions than Nickel 99.2 (Alloy 200) and Nickel 99.2 (Alloy 201, low carbon). At the same time, the higher nickel content gives the alloy good corrosion resistance in reducing conditions and alkaline solutions, and can effectively prevent stress corrosion cracking of ferric chloride.
INCONEL 693 alloy (UNS N06693) is a new alloy produced by LAN DONG. It provides high-temperature corrosion resistance that previous nickel-based alloys could not achieve. Of particular interest to designers is the alloy's ability to resist metal dusting. INCONEL 693 alloy provides the best resistance to metal dusting in chemical and petrochemical environments of any alloy currently produced.
