HASTELLOY C276 is a wrought nickel-chromium-molybdenum alloy considered the most widely used corrosion-resistant alloy. The alloy inhibits the formation of grain boundary precipitates in the weld heat-affected zone, making it suitable for most chemical process applications in the as-welded condition. C-276 alloy also exhibits excellent resistance to pitting corrosion, stress corrosion cracking, and oxidation at temperatures up to 1900°F. C-276 alloy offers excellent resistance to a wide range of chemical environments.
