Characteristics
Age Hardenability:
The alloy can be strengthened by precipitation heat treatment, forming a fine, stable strengthening phase that enhances mechanical properties.
High-Temperature Strength:
It maintains excellent tensile strength, yield strength, and creep-rupture strength up to approximately 648°C (1200°F).
Low-Temperature Properties:
It maintains good ductility and fracture toughness even at very low temperatures, making it suitable for use in both high and low-temperature environments.

The chromium-rich composition forms a protective oxide layer, enabling it to withstand corrosive environments and high temperatures.
