What materials does 25-6HN correspond to?
25-6HN Introduction:
25-6HN alloy is a super-austenitic stainless steel containing 6% molybdenum, and the nitrogen content enhances its properties. The high nickel content of 25-6HN alloy makes it thermally stable and resistant to stress corrosion cracking. Its unified numbering system is UNS N08367. Compared with traditional austenitic stainless steel AISI 304 or 316L, 25-6HN alloy has significantly improved strength and corrosion resistance in most environments.
Typical applications for 25-6HN include heat exchangers, welded pipes for chemical processing, marine applications and desalination systems, flue gas desulfurization equipment for thermal power plants and reactors for pharmaceutical production.
