Gnee Steel is one of the most trusted manufacturers, distributors, and exporters of Inconel 718 and 825 plates and coils on the market. Inconel 718 plates offer excellent oxidation and corrosion resistance. The carbon content of 718 alloy plates and coils is a maximum of 0.08%, while that of 825 alloy plates and coils is a maximum of 0.05%. Gnee Steel's Inconel 718/825 products undergo standardized processing and inspection, resulting in excellent machinability, weldability, and ductility.
Inconel 718 vs. Incoloy 825 sheet metal

Inconel 718 vs. Incoloy 825 sheet metal
Inconel 718 is a high-strength, precipitation-hardening nickel-based alloy with excellent heat resistance, fatigue resistance, and creep resistance, with a maximum temperature resistance of 650°C (1200°F), making it an ideal material for aerospace and gas turbines. Incoloy 825, on the other hand, is an iron-nickel-chromium alloy characterized by excellent corrosion resistance, especially in acidic, phosphate, and marine environments, and also exhibits higher ductility than Inconel 718.

What are the limitations of Inconel 718?
Due to the relatively low thermal conductivity of nickel-based alloys such as Inconel 718, heat tends to accumulate at the tool tip during machining. This can lead to excessive tool wear, shortening tool life or reducing machining speed.
