Hastelloy C-22 pipe, a nickel-chromium-molybdenum-tungsten alloy, is widely used in the chemical industry for its excellent corrosion resistance, high-temperature performance, and resistance to various corrosion conditions, including pitting, crevice corrosion, and stress corrosion cracking. Its corrosion resistance surpasses that of many other alloys, particularly in oxidizing environments and wet chlorine environments. It is widely used in applications such as chemical equipment, heat exchangers, and flue gas desulfurization systems.

What are Hastelloy C22 alloys used for?

C-22 is suitable for use in highly corrosive media with high chloride content and high temperatures, such as buffer solutions, active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs), fabric softeners, cleaning products, and fish, soy, and chili sauces.
