Differences between Hastelloy B2 and B3 sheets
Hastelloy B2 Alloy Plate and B3 Plate are both nickel-based alloys known for their excellent corrosion resistance, especially in reducing environments. However, Hastelloy B3 Plate has higher thermal stability and resistance to certain types of corrosion than B2 Plate. B3 Plate also has better processing characteristics and maintains good ductility during heat treatment.

What is Hastelloy B3 Plate?
Hastelloy B-3 alloy plate is a nickel-molybdenum alloy that offers excellent resistance to pitting, corrosion and stress corrosion cracking, and better thermal stability than alloy B-2. In addition, this nickel-steel alloy offers excellent resistance to tool mark and heat-affected zone corrosion.
