Gnee Steel is a professional manufacturer of Inconel 718. Gnee Steel's 718 product packaging includes: steel strapping: pipes with an outer diameter not exceeding 3 inches are typically bundled together with polypropylene film to prevent rusting during sea transport and then secured with steel straps; wooden crates/crates: pipes are usually packed in wooden crates or crates for protection during transport, especially for longer or larger diameter pipes; seaworthy export packaging: suppliers typically use standard seaworthy export packaging methods, which may include various materials and techniques to protect the pipes during transport; and tarpaulin packaging: to prevent rainwater, seawater, etc., from seeping into the export wooden crate packaging during transport. Gnee Steel also specializes in the production and sales of alloy materials. Gnee Steel's products are widely used in aerospace, chemical, power, automotive, and nuclear energy fields, and customized alloy material solutions can be provided according to customer needs. Difference Between Inconel 718 Strip and Inconel X-750 Strip

Difference Between Inconel 718 Strip and Inconel X-750 Strip
Inconel 718 steel strip offers superior strength, corrosion resistance, and weldability, with a maximum welding temperature of 700°C, making it an ideal material for jet engine components. In contrast, Inconel X-750 steel strip performs exceptionally well in higher temperature and lower stress environments (up to 980°C) and offers better oxidation resistance. Alloy 718 contains molybdenum, while X-750 does not.
Is Inconel X-750 magnetic?
This material has excellent relaxation resistance and is non-magnetic. Its high-temperature strength reaches 1300ºF (700°C), and its oxidation resistance reaches 1800ºF (983˚C). Inconel X-750 resists corrosion from a variety of industrial corrosives under both oxidizing and reducing conditions.

What is Inconel 718 Alloy Strip?
Inconel 718 alloy strip is a high-strength, corrosion-resistant nickel-chromium alloy strip with a service temperature range of -423°F to 1300°F.
This age-hardening alloy strip is easy to machine, even for complex finished parts. It exhibits excellent weldability, particularly resistance to post-weld cracking.
Inconel 718 strip is cut from a master coil.
What is Inconel X-750 Alloy Strip?
Inconel X-750 alloy strip is a precipitation-hardening nickel-chromium alloy strip, highly favored for its excellent corrosion resistance, oxidation resistance, and ability to maintain high strength at temperatures up to 1300°F (700°C).
Inconel X-750 alloy strip, also known as Inconel X-750 narrow coil or Inconel X-750 alloy strip, is a narrow and long nickel alloy sheet.
Inconel X-750 alloy strip exhibits excellent corrosion resistance, high-temperature resistance, and fatigue resistance, while also possessing good flexibility.

Chemical composition of Inconel 718 alloy strip and Inconel X-750 strip
Inconel 718 Alloy Strip Chemical Composition
| Grade | Standard | C | Si | Mn | P | S | Cr | Ni | Ti |
| Inconel 718 | ASTM B 670, ASTM B 906, SAE AMS 5596 | ≤0.08 | ≤0.35 | ≤0.35 | ≤0.015 | ≤0.015 | 17.00-21.00 | 50.0-55.0 | 0.65-1.15 |
Inconel X-750 Alloy Strip Chemical Composition
| Grade | Standard | C | Si | Mn | P | S | Cr | Ni | Ti |
| Inconel X-750 | AMS 5542 | ≤0.08 | ≤0.50 | ≤1.00 | ≤0.015 | ≤0.010 | 14.00-17.00 | ≥70 | 2.25-2.75 |
Corrosion properties of Inconel 718 alloy strip and Inconel X-750 strip
Compared to Inconel X-750 steel strip, Inconel 718 steel strip has a higher chromium content. Therefore, Inconel 718 exhibits stronger oxidation resistance compared to Inconel X-750.
Furthermore, Alloy 718 contains molybdenum, while Alloy X-750 does not. The addition of molybdenum enhances the resistance of Inconel 718 to reducing corrosion. Therefore, Inconel 718 steel strip outperforms Inconel X-750 steel strip in all aspects of corrosion resistance.
