Comparison of Inconel 718 and Incoloy 825 Pipes

Comparison of Inconel 718 and Incoloy 825 Pipes
Inconel 718 and Incoloy 825 tubing are specialized corrosion-resistant alloys. Inconel 718 (with a nickel content of 50% or more) offers excellent and cost-effective corrosion resistance in acidic/marine environments. 718 is ideal for aerospace/turbine applications, while 825 is suitable for chemical processing.
Is Inconel 825 magnetic?
Inconel 825 is generally not magnetic. This alloy is a nickel-iron-chromium alloy with added molybdenum, copper, and titanium, elements that help improve its overall corrosion resistance and maintain its non-magnetic nature.

Inconel 718 seamless and welded steel pipes possess exceptional resistance to oxidation, corrosion, and stress cracking. These Inconel 718 seamless and welded steel pipes have a tensile strength of 130,000 psi and a yield strength of 75,000 psi. Inconel 718 steel pipes have a wide range of applications across various industries. Both seamless and welded steel pipes are made from Inconel stainless steel. These Inconel 718 steel pipes exhibit superior performance and an extremely high melting point.
Inconel 825 possesses similar excellent properties. Inconel 825 effectively resists the effects of chemical processes such as corrosion, moisture, and oxidation. Inconel 825 can operate stably at temperatures up to 1020 degrees Celsius. Inconel 825 has a tensile strength of 80,000 psi and a yield strength of 32,000 psi. It exhibits excellent resistance to crevice corrosion, chemical corrosion, and stress cracking caused by climate change. These pipelines are widely used in fields such as oil and gas extraction, chemical industry, and radioactive waste treatment.
