625 and 601 have the closest nickel content, but Inconel 625 alloy has added molybdenum. Inconel 600 alloy has the highest nickel content, while 690 and 693 are considered high-chromium alloys.
What are the differences between INCONEL 600 coil and INCONEL 601 alloy coil?
INCONEL 600 is a nickel-chromium alloy with superior resistance to high-temperature oxidation. It boasts high strength and stability, capable of withstanding various harsh environments and operating stably at temperatures ranging from low to extremely high. INCONEL 601, on the other hand, incorporates aluminum, enhancing its heat resistance and strength. INCONEL 601 forms a tightly adhering oxide layer, preventing peeling under severe thermal cycling conditions.
INCONEL 600 coil is a thinner, non-magnetic alloy with excellent corrosion resistance and atmospheric oxidation resistance. These foils have a smooth, stain-free surface, higher hardness, and maintain excellent performance even under extreme conditions. INCONEL 601 coil prevents embrittlement caused by prolonged exposure and reduces carburization. It can withstand higher stresses at high temperatures without cracking.
