ASTM B444 is the standard specification for nickel-chromium alloy pipes made from nickel-chromium-molybdenum-niobium alloys, offering excellent oxidation resistance and corrosion resistance, along with a high melting point suitable for both aqueous environments and high-temperature applications. GNEE supplies Inconel 625 pipes, tubes, and U-bend tubes manufactured from this corrosion- and oxidation-resistant Ni-Cr-Mo alloy, stabilized with niobium. These products achieve a minimum tensile strength of 880 MPa, minimum yield strength of 460 MPa, and can operate at temperatures up to 982 °C, making them ideal for high-temperature, high-strength applications such as exhaust systems, aircraft piping systems, turbines, and engine thrust reversers.
Inconel 625 is available in Grade 1 and Grade 2, with ASTM B444 UNS N06625 Grade 1 being the most widely used for high-temperature service under severe operating conditions. In addition, Inconel 625 U-bend tubes feature a U-shaped design that allows bidirectional bending and compact piping layouts; although the unit price is higher, they deliver excellent life-cycle cost efficiency due to their long service life and reliability.
