Inconel601 (UNS N06601): The performance characteristics of NiCr23Fe are better than 600. It is an alloy with high chromium content and should have excellent resistance to oxidation corrosion. Because it also contains aluminum, it has good oxidation resistance and curing function. This alloy is characterized by excellent oxidation resistance and carbonization resistance at high temperatures, good mechanical properties at room temperature and high temperature, and good stress corrosion cracking resistance. Due to the control of carbon content and grain size, It has high creep rupture strength, so it is recommended for use in areas above 500°C.
Inconel601GC is a version of Inconel601 that inhibits grain growth. Adding Zr and N can effectively inhibit the rate of grain growth of the alloy at high temperatures.
