Inconel Alloy 690 Small diameter pipe
Inconel 690 Tube is a higher chromium content Inconel 600 alloy that is more resistant to a wide range of oxidizing acids and salts and can be sulfided over a wide range of temperatures. Resistance to nitric and hydrofluoric acid mixtures allows it to be used for shop pickling. The alloy has excellent resistance to stress cracking and has therefore replaced Inconel 600 in different applications. Recently, the alloy has also replaced Inconel 601 as the material of choice for metal powder spraying environments and combined with Inconel 693 alloy, creates a good engineering material for new designs of compact reformers.
