Inconel Alloy 600 seamless pipe
At GNEE group, Inconel 600 Tube is a chromium-nickel alloy designed for use in temperatures up to 2000°F and down to cryogenic levels. The alloy resists reducing environments as well as chloride stress corrosion cracking due to the high nickel content, and resists weaker oxidizing conditions due to the high chromium content. Alloy 600 Seamless Nickel Tube is an austenitic alloy with a high nickel content, non-magnetic, and has excellent mechanical properties at both high and low temperatures.

Heat treatment
Alloy 600 will not harden due to heat treatment, only cold work hardening. Annealing after cold working softens the material. The softening temperature can be between 871℃ and 1149℃. Grain growth is very rapid at 982 ° C or higher, but a short stay at 1038 ° C softens the material without undue grain growth. The cooling after heat treatment can be slow cooling, or fast quenching cooling, will get a considerable hardness.
