Gnee Steel offers the following heat treatments for 825 Incoloy Alloy Ship Round Bars: annealing and solution + aging. Gnee Steel also offers hot working and cold working, namely hot rolling and cold drawing.
Raw Material Selection & Melting

Refining and Casting
Molten metal is refined to remove unwanted impurities and hit target chemistry. Qualified melt is cast into solid ingots, which act as base feedstock for subsequent hot‑working procedures.
Hot Working: Forging & Rolling
Solid ingots go through high‑temperature forging and rolling. Forging refines grain structure to boost strength‑toughness; rolling shapes workpieces into target bar cross‑section dimensions.
Heat Treatment
Solution annealing is the key heat‑treatment for UNS N08825. Heated and rapidly cooled to suppress harmful phases, it maintains corrosion resistance and optimizes tensile, hardness and creep properties.
Machining
Alloy 825 features high strength and work‑hardening tendency. Advanced cutting tools perform turning, grinding and other operations to deliver bars with precise size and qualified surface finish.
Quality Control & Testing
Each batch undergoes full inspection: chemical analysis, tensile & hardness mechanical tests, plus UT and RT NDE. It verifies composition, mechanical performance and internal defect‑free condition.
