ASTM B409 standard applies to thick plates, thin plates and strips of nickel-iron-chromium alloy.
ASTM B409 N08800 cold-rolled plate has high tolerance to oxidation and carburization in high temperature environment, and its oxidation resistance is better than SUS 310S, and even close to NAS 600. Its high temperature strength is basically the same as NAS 600. It will not precipitate σ phase at high temperature to cause embrittlement, and is widely used in heat-resistant materials.
UNS N08800 alloy cold-rolled plate heat treatment process
Annealing and stress relief annealing. The annealing temperature is 980-1100℃, rapid cooling; the stress relief annealing temperature is 780-870℃, air cooling.
