INCOLOY Alloy 926 (UNS N08926 / W. Nr. 1.4529 / INCOLOY Alloy 25-6MO) is a super austenitic stainless steel containing 6% molybdenum and reinforced by the addition of nitrogen. The alloy's nickel and chromium content makes it resistant to a variety of corrosive environments. The alloy is particularly resistant to non-oxidizing acids such as sulfuric acid and phosphoric acid. High molybdenum content and nitrogen provide resistance to pitting and crevice corrosion, while copper increases resistance to sulfuric acid.
Alloy 32760 is a super duplex stainless steel supplied in hot worked and solution annealed conditions. As a superduplex stainless steel, it combines the ideal aspects of austenitic and ferritic steel grades. Higher chromium, molybdenum and nitrogen contents result in a Pitting Resistance Equivalency Number (PREN) > 40, providing superior pitting and crevice corrosion performance to austenitic and duplex stainless steels in almost all corrosive media and critical pitting Temperatures above 50°C NOTE The PREN version of the formula also includes W as a positive influence on the overall pitting corrosion resistance.
