Hastelloy UNS N06455 Tubes has superior resistance to an oxidizing environment that is up to 1040°C. These tubes are basically formed with the molybdenum-nickel-chromium alloys. The combination of alloys provides great stability and ductility. Hence, it also shows outstanding resistance to corrosion and stress corrosion cracking in hostile circumstances. These grades of tubes are hot-upset and forged. Therefore it also has a great tendency to work harden. Thus these are excellently spun, deep drawn, punched and press formed. Moreover, these can be hot worked and cold worked. However, these tubes are hardened by the cold working process only. The welding of these tubes is done through various welding methods.
