Hastelloy B2 Steel Composite Plate Description
Hastelloy C22 plate (UNS N06022/W.Nr. 2.4602) is a versatile austenitic nickel-chromium-molybdenum-tungsten alloy with enhanced resistance to pitting, crevice corrosion, and stress corrosion cracking. Hastelloy C22 plate exhibits excellent resistance to oxidizing aqueous media, including wet chlorine gas and oxidizing acid mixtures containing nitric acid or chloride ions. Hastelloy C22 plate should not be used at service temperatures above 1250°F (704°C) due to the formation of deleterious phases. Hastelloy C22 coil offers excellent resistance to oxidizing aqueous media and good weldability. Unless otherwise specified, wrought products from Hastelloy C22 pierced coil are supplied in the mill annealed (MA) condition. This solution annealing process is designed to optimize the corrosion resistance and ductility of Alloy C22 plate.
