The SA 387 Gr 12 plate is a high strength pressure vessel grade. A SA 387 Grade 12 Plate has a chemical content of carbon, manganese, phosphorous, sulfur, silicon, chromium, and molybdenum. This allows the SA 387 Grade 12 Plate to have good corrosion resistance properties across harsh environments. These plates have excellent resistance to oxidation and chloride stress corrosion cracking. The plates are designed in thicknesses up to 150mm and can be welded following standard procedures. Sa 387 Gr 12 Equivalent Material is the BS 620B, EN 13 CRMO 45, ASTM/ASME SA387-12-2 and DIN 13 CRMO 44.
