Inconel 825 is a nickel alloy that is suitable for industries that deal with high heat reactions. For example, industries such as air pollution control, chemical and petrochemical, nuclear pickling steel, ore processing, petroleum refining, offshore oil and gas production, food processing, and waste treatment often use Inconel 825 round bar.
These industries usually involve systems with exothermic reactions. Therefore, a lot of heat is generated in their systems. Unlike Werkstoff No. 2.4858 Alloy 825 Round Bar, ordinary stainless steel or carbon steel alloys are not good at absorbing such high heat. They lose mechanical properties. However, unlike ordinary steel alloys, Nickel Alloy 825 Round Bar not only withstands such conditions, but also works well here. Neither the mechanical properties nor the corrosion resistance of Alloy 825 Nickel Bright Bar are affected at such high heat levels. Nickel forms a clear, adherent, passive oxide layer on the surface of 825 Alloy Bar, which effectively slows down corrosion.
