Incoloy 825 Sheets/ Plates are used to make the surfaces of tanks and vessels for highly corrosive media. Acid vessels, chemical tanks, seawater purification systems and boilers all use these sheets and plates. Incoloy 825 Sheets have a minimum tensile strength of 662MPa and a minimum yield strength of 338MPa after annealing, whereas Alloy 825 Sheets have a minimum tensile strength of 758MPa and a minimum yield strength of 421MPa after annealing. The main difference is in the thickness. Sheets vary in thickness from 0.3 mm to 4 mm, whereas Sheets vary in thickness from 4 mm to 75 mm. Nickel Alloy 825 Strips are essentially a narrow version of Sheets and Plates. These strips are used in making pipes and lining applications made of other materials. The material is a high nickel alloy that contains Molybdenum, Titanium, Niobium in addition to Chromium. This composition enables UNS n08825 plates to be used at high temperatures up to 870 degrees C. DIN 2.4858 plates are suitable for applications requiring higher strength and corrosion resistance.
