Hastelloy B2 Steel high pressure Tube
Hastelloy B2 is an austenitic high temperature alloy used to produce high strength pipes. Hastelloy B2 pipes are solution strengthened nickel-molybdenum alloy. These pipes exhibit enhanced corrosion resistance in severe environmental conditions. These widely used pipes have excellent resistance to pitting and stress corrosion cracking. Alloy B2 pipes can withstand hydrochloric acid in a wide range of concentrations and temperatures. These pipes have good machinability and can be easily processed by conventional methods. The strong ASTM B619 UNS N10675 pipes are solution treated at 1065 degrees Celsius and quenched at room temperature or in a hydrogen atmosphere to avoid bright surface oxidation. Hastelloy B2 pipes have a density of 9.22 g/cm³ and a melting point of 1427 degrees Celsius. These pipes have a minimum tensile strength of 914 MPa and a minimum yield strength of 396 MPa. They have a hardness of 168 Brinell hardness and an elongation at break of 55%.
