254SMO (UNS N31254) is often referred to as the "6% Moly" grade due to its molybdenum content. 254SMO is an austenitic stainless steel with high content of chromium, molybdenum and nitrogen, which has good resistance to pitting and crevice corrosion, especially in environments containing halide ions, such as chloride, bromide and fluoride solutions .
253MA is an alloy obtained by increasing the nitrogen content and adding rare earth elements for micro-alloying on the basis of alloy 1.4828. It has good oxidation resistance, good high-temperature corrosion resistance, and good high-temperature mechanical strength. The most suitable operating temperature range is 850-1100℃. If used in the range of 600 to 850℃, the impact toughness at room temperature will be reduced due to structural changes.
654SMo (S32654, 1.4652) super austenitic stainless steel is a super austenitic stainless steel containing 23% nickel, 25% chromium and 7% molybdenum. Its anti-corrosion ability is much better than ordinary austenitic steel.
